Moss Furniture Shipping & Returns Policy

Products sold on the Moss Furniture website are premium quality large scale (heavy) furnishings. Accordingly, we offer just two shipping options:

  1. Click & Collect (FREE)
  2. Premium Delivery/ Install ($150 + GST), Sydney Metro only

Click & Collect - $FREE

Items purchased online are available for collection from the Moss Furniture showroom in Crows Nest or from our nearby warehouse in Artarmon. When your item/s become available, we will contact you to arrange a suitable day/time for collection. You will need to supply your own transport. Liability for any damages incurred in transportation are buyer/driver’s own.

Premium Delivery & Installation (Sydney Metro only) - $150 + GST / $165

Our premium delivery and Installation service means your item/s are delivered by experienced furniture handlers, with the necessary transport, manpower and protective measures for your products. Our delivery people not only deliver to your door, they install your item/s to the position in which you would like it within your home.

When you choose premium delivery, you are also protected for any damages incurred during the delivery process. We ask you to inspect your goods upon delivery in the presence of delivery persons, and alert us immediately should any issue be detected.

Please note, installation may not be available where access is limited, eg. Elevators, multiple stairs, small stairwells etc. Please disclose any such detail when making delivery arrangements. We can work out the best way to deliver suitably.

DELIVERY OUTSIDE SYDNEY METRO - $POA

We don’t want the rest of Australia to miss out! If you live outside the Sydney metro region please contact us by phone or email to arrange a shipping quote. Costs vary greatly depending on weight, size and delivery locations. We will work out a price just for you, based on the item/s you’d like to purchase and your delivery location.

Lead Times

Beautiful designer furniture doesn’t happen overnight! Most items have a 6-8 week lead time from order to delivery. We can give you a closer estimate at the time of order, depending on the item/s you have selected. Custom-made tables may take up to 9 weeks, given the detailed nature of production. Items purchased from our Floor Stock Sale Items or from our Ready to Buy range are available immediately and can be collected from the showroom or delivered within a week from purchase.

Returns & refunds

Given the scale, nature and processes involved in purchasing our products, requests for returns or refunds are rare. We do not offer returns for change of mind purchases, for used items, floor stock pieces or items damaged after leaving the care of Moss Furniture. However, we understand issues may occasionally occur outside these circumstances. Should this be the case, will work with clients directly to find a resolution. This can only be done on a case-by-case basis.  We encourage you to contact us within 7 days should you have an issue with your product/s.

That said, we pride ourselves on the quality of all our items and take particular care in shipping and delivery. Our custom made pieces do not leave our warehouse without full quality inspection and approval. It would be a rare situation that an inferior item is delivered. We ask you to inspect your goods upon delivery – preferably in the presence of delivery persons - and alert us immediately should any issue be detected.
